THEY TESTED ME THOUGH THEY HAD SEEN MY WORKS

P S A L M
Psalm 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9

Come, let us sing joyfully to the LORD; let us acclaim the Rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us joyfully sing psalm to him. Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the LORD who made us. For he is our God, and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides. Oh, that today you would hear his voice:

Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the desert, where your fathers tempted me; they tested me though they had seen my works.

PRAYER AND REFLECTION

Omnipotens Deus quod Abbas , sulum meus vita hodie est plenus vestri venia etiamnunc meus mens videor futurus in illud ut meus tendo. In a via , ego loco vos periclitor infinitus officina vos beatus mihi per quod huic Ego summisse quaeso vestri venia. Vos meus pectus pectoris sentio vestri diligo ut dat mihi tripudium in vestri presentia. In cultus vos , commodo recipero meus laus quod.

Almighty God and Father, each moment of my life today is full of your graces yet my mind seems to be preoccupied on those that can solve my present predicaments. In a way, I have put you to test in spite of the limitless works you have blessed me with and for this I humbly ask for your forgiveness. You have softened my heart to feel the vastness of your love that gives me joy in your presence. In worshiping you, please accept my praises and thanksgiving.

Each second added to a person’s life is a moment of grace from God. These are the infinite blessings, miracles, and works of the Lord that we receive everyday such as the air we breathe, water to drink, and food to eat that sustains our lives. Yet, in most cases, our mind is preoccupied to those problems and predicaments that we want the Lord to solve. It may seem that what matters most are not those vital graces but concrete answers and intervention of our Lord to solve our problems. It hardens our hearts to feel that God seems to ignore our plights if such have not been met.

These past days, I was too preoccupied in solving a problem in one of my business undertakings. I have run out of supplies and could not effectively serve my regular account. In most of my daily prayers, I have sought the Lord’s intervention in solving this problem of mine, yet up to now, it seems that I have not receive any concrete actions that I must take. Although I still have pending negotiations with possible alternative principals, the problem remains unsettled.

What is amazing is the fact that in spite of this serious problem, the Lord was kind enough to give me peace instead of being pressured. In faith, I believe that this will be resolved at the proper time because the Lord never fails in taking my cares away. We have managed to live in comfort and peace in spite of the ups and downs of life, all because of our faith and dependence on God.
