Time draws near when our Lord Jesus Christ shall again fill the hearts of men as the world celebrates Christmas. All year round, this time of the year is when people recognizes the visitation of Christ into their homes and community which should not be the case. Christmas is not the only time when our Lord visits us,, He has always been with us and around us. The problem is that we are too busy coping up with life's challenges and problems that we forget to recognize the visitation of Christ in our lives.
Dear Lord, it is truly sad that we only come to recognize you during Sundays and Holidays where in fact, you are always with us. Most if not all of us loves to live in peace but the giver of peace is usually set aside and easily forgotten. In good days, we enjoy life to the fullest without you but in bad days, we again go back to you for help. This foolishness has kept you weeping all these years for your dearly beloved people and so I am humbly ask in prayer that your mercy be upon all of us and forgive us for not being wise in recognizing your presence and being thankful to you for giving us the peace that we always sought in life.
Because of you, we were all made children of the Father Almighty. You are the Love that binds men with their God. In His grace, He has drawn us to you as His beloved Son. May we all cherish you as our one true gift from the Father this coming Christmas.
You are the best gift that we ever had in all the time of our lives. Christmas is not all about giving and receiving material gifts but it is recognizing and remembering that we have received the best gift there is, and that is you.
