NO EASY WAY IN

In Luke 13:24, the Lord said, "Strive to enter by the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able".

In this day and age, it is really difficult for a person to do good or walk the right path so to speak. The Lord knows this and for this reason, He left us with the keyword, "strive".

Rewards and achievements gained are most valued and treasured if they are products of hard work. This requires two very essential components, and that is self-determination and rigid training.

25
When once the householder has risen up and shut the door, you will begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, `Lord, open to us.' He will answer you, `I do not know where you come from.'
26
Then you will begin to say, `We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.'
27
But he will say, `I tell you, I do not know where you come from; depart from me, all you workers of iniquity!'
28
There you will weep and gnash your teeth, when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God and you yourselves thrust out.
29
And men will come from east and west, and from north and south, and sit at table in the kingdom of God.
30
And behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last."

Whoever will proudly dispute and contradict will always stand outside the door. Christ, the master of humility, manifests His truth only to the humble and hides himself from the proud and the obstinate.

Attitude by: Rev. Charles Swindoll, Source Unknown
The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think, say, or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill. It will make or break a company, a church, a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.
We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge of our attitudes.
