But He Withdrew and Prayed. . .

But so much the more the report went abroad concerning him; and great multitudes gathered to hear and to be healed of their infirmities. But he withdrew to the wilderness and prayed (Luke 5:14).

Reflection
In the midst of your victories and successes in life, do you take time-out to be with God and return back to Him all the glory and praises that you received?

Prayer
Father in heaven, your works in me became victorious and successful because of my obedience to your will. It is you not I who should be praised and glorified. You are the one true source of all these blessings and with much thanksgiving, I give you back all the honor, glory and praises now and forever. In Jesus Name I pray. Amen.
