Whose side you're on?

Man's perception of personalities and events should always be guided by proper discernment so that his line of thinking will not be deceived to take the side of those that are opposed to God's will and purpose.

The grace of suffering is not on suffering itself but on the love that moves a man to undergo such a painful ordeal.

Father in heaven, thy will be done!

In my life's journey, I believed that there is grace in everthing that comes before me. You allow things to happen so that I may experience the joy of being blessed. It is by my falling that I have learned to stand up and through the pains and sufferings that I have gone through, you became my strength and my shield.

Capture my thoughts from being deceived by placing in me the Mind of Christ so that I will always take the side of truth.

I give you glory and praise in Jesus Name. Amen.

Gospel : Mark 8: 27 - 33

And Jesus went on with his disciples, to the villages of Caesare'a Philip'pi; and on the way he asked his disciples, "Who do men say that I am?"

And they told him, "John the Baptist; and others say, Eli'jah; and others one of the prophets." And he asked them, "But who do you say that I am?" Peter answered him, "You are the Christ." And he charged them to tell no one about him.

And he began to teach them that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and the chief priests and the scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again. And he said this plainly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

But turning and seeing his disciples, he rebuked Peter, and said, "Get behind me, Satan! For you are not on the side of God, but of men."
