"You shall see greater things than these."
John 1:50
The wise in heart shall be called prudent: and he that is sweet in words shall attain to greater things (Prov. 16:21).
Who is wise? He will realize these things. Who is discerning? He will understand them. The ways of the LORD are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them (Hos. 14:9). A wise man's heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction (Prov. 16:23).
Follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy (1 Cor. 14:1). If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing (1 Cor. 13:2). Do everything in love (1 Cor. 16:4).
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away (1 Cor. 13:8).
If that had been too little, I would have added to you many more things like these! (2 Sam. 12:8)
All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee!
They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power, to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom. Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds.
The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings. The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.
