GOD'S LABORERS

"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few;
pray therefore the Lord of the harvest
to send out laborers into his harvest."
Matthew 9:37-38

Compassion for people who were harassed and helpless has led Jesus to utter these words. He attributed their unfortunate situation to the fact that they have no one to look after their welfare.

In troubled times or when we are sick, we long for somebody who can be with us. Someone who understands what we are going through and willing to extend his helping hand out of compassion.

These are the people that the world needs today. People who does not only live for themselves but for others. People who are willing to help and sacrifice their time, talent, and treasures to those who are in need.

The Lord is calling you to be His laborer. He has made you well and blessed you with all the resources you need so that you too can be a blessing to others.

Lord, you are the heart of compassion that is in me. I pray that you send out more laborers who are willing to help and minister to the needs of your people. Give them the authority and resources to do so for the praise and glory of your Name. Use them to bring the lost into your fold. May you forever be in our hearts for every good work that we do for others out of love.
