CONSTRUCTION

To journey is to travel and you need destinations or addresses. It is also imperative that you define the purpose of your travel before selecting the right destinations.

Discipleship is another form of journey or travel, and the ultimate destination is heaven. In the same manner as like going abroad on work or mission, one has to leave his family behind. It also requires sacrifice for the greater good.

At the moment, both on work and mission, God made you deeply involved in construction. To construct is first to sit down and calculate the cost to see if there is enough for its completion. Otherwise, you will find yourself unable to finish the work. Onlookers are just waiting for you to commit a mistake. They may say “This one began to build but did not have the resources to finish”.

This also applies in creating a new business. You should first define your target market, source for the right product, and build or secure the necessary resource or capital. Otherwise, you may end up surrendering before actually going into battle. Since you are not yet capable of highly capitalized forms of business ventures, focus on those that you have resources and facilities to do so.

REFLECTION

The construction of the Reconciliation Room is on its finishing stage and the parish recently launched another fund raising program in order to finish the ceiling. The launching of this program was done by way of a powerpoint presentation yesterday, to coincide with the birthday of the Blessed Mother. The concept was dubbed as “Triple 8 by December 8”.

In God’s grace, I was again able to use the talents He gave me by spearheading this program and creating the necessary presentation. The concept was a product of the Parish Construction Committee headed by our very own Parish Priest, Fr. Greg Ramos.

This also came at a fitting time when I have just established a new company named Philconres Solutions. This company offers services such as multi-media presentations, web hosting and outsourcing.

PRAYER

Father God, in Your goodness and grace, You have made me a part of building Your church. Such awesome are Your works and I sometimes wonder why You have chosen me to be a part of them. None of these I can do on my own without You by my side. No human being can ever be capable of doing such works if they are not filled by Your Spirit!

In spite of my limitations and shortcomings, You have always provided the necessary tools and resources to accomplish Your will. It is You who is at work and I am greatly privilege to be a part of Your own good work.

Be it in church or at work, I know that You are always around to direct my thoughts and actions. I just pray that I will not loose sight of its essence not only to my life but for the greater good of many. In Jesus Name, I pray. Amen.
