In Matthew 19:26, the Lord said, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
It is really difficult to feel and experience the poweful presence of the Lord in our lives if we are too much preoccupied by our own priorities and agenda. Our minds are filled with so much work that must be done, obligations to take care of, and problems to settle, that tends to build up pressures and anxieties in the conduct of our daily living. With such full and heavy mind that seems to burst, we then ask ourselves, where is God when we need him most?
In times like this, you need to unload your burdens my friend. For a short while, take time out to just sit back, relax, and empty yourself up from all the cares and worries of the day. If you have some soft music, play it. Close your eyes, be at peace and feel the presence of the Lord in your midst. . .
Friend, God has never left you. He is there all the time with you. He knows all your cares and he is just patiently waiting for you to call upon his name. He is there my friend. . . He is there in you. . . Be with him and long to live in his presence once again. You really can not do anything by yourself, you need him, you need to be with him for with him, all things as possible.
Unless we do not empty ourselves and surrender our lives to God, we can never experience his abundance and overflowing graces. Surely we need to set-up goals and priorities, work and get things done but "not by ourselves alone, but with God!"
Life will be a lot easier if you take every step of the way to always be with the Lord. . .
