KINGDOM BELONGS TO CHILDREN

People were bringing children to Jesus that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said  to them,

“Let the children come to me; do not prevent them,

for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. "

Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it.” Then he embraced the children and blessed them, placing his hands on them.

Allow others to come to Jesus in their own ways or thinking most especially those who are not yet mature. Jesus came to seek the lost, the least, and the last so that they can become first in the kingdom of God.

Consider yourself like a child who needs constant nourishment from the Lord, trusting and depending on Him as your guide and protector. Seek His blessings today so that you may always be filled with His love and compassion.

Lord, thank you so much for making me a part of your very own family. In you, I became a child of God. I humbly come before you today with an open heart and completely surrendering to you all my cares. Only in you do I find comfort of having peace and joy in my everyday life. May you always be with me for all of eternity. Amen.
