The Lord charged you to build Him a house. Encourage everyone to give his or her free-will offerings for the house of God. Look into all family heads, priests and everyone, that is, which God had inspired to do so. Prepare to go up to build the house of the LORD. All neighbors shall give help in every way besides all their free-will offerings.
REFLECTION
Last September 8, 2007, to coincide with the birthday of our Blessed Mother Mary, we formally launched the “Triple 8 by December 8”. This fund raising activity serves as our gift to our patroness in order to secure the needed resources in finishing the church ceiling.
All of us have been charged by our Lord to build Him a house. In doing so, we should encourage everyone to participate in this momentous endeavor by sharing their time, talent and treasures.
Before the next councils meeting, I just hope and pray that I will be able to finish and finalize the scheme and concept on how to bring this activity into its second level, by presenting its detailed mechanics, goals and targets, and furnishing each assigned groups with a database of donors to work on.
As always, it is the Lord who sets up our priorities and directions. All we have to do is to obey and follow. We cannot do this on our own; it is the Lord who enables us to do His will.
I just thank the Lord for always guiding each and every step I make as a servant of His church, a husband to my ever faithful and loving wife, a father to my sweet and wonderful daughter, a civic leader to the communities where He placed me to serve, and a professional businessman to the companies He has given me to manage. If not for Him, who places everything in order. I will not be able to cherish each graces and blessings as a “Moment of Grace”.
